On Wednesday end of the day, equity market ended on the flat note. Sensex rallied more than 28000 in morning trade but turned volatile in afternoon trade. Sensex was up 47.81 points at 28,024.33. Its touched a high of 282010.88 and a low of 27,899.93. Nifty had reclimbed the 8650 but slipped to the end of the day marginally above the 8600. Nifty gained 25.15 points at 8615.80. Its touched a high of 8,665.00 and a low of 8,572.05.
BSE midcap index rose 0.6 percent and ended at 12500. BSE smallcap up 0.5 percent to 12209.
Bank Nifty bounced nearly 1 percent and closed at 19022.
Auto, Media, Metal, and Capital showed positive on today. Pharma index down 1 percent and bdeclined 0.7 percent.

Gainer - ICICI Bank, Adani Ports, Maruti, HDFC and Tata Motors
Loser - Dr Reddy's, ITC, Reliance, Tata Steel and Axis Bank are losers.
