Today in morning trade, The market has opened at fresh 11 months with the Nifty hitting 8500. The equity benchmarks, as well as broader market, continued to trade higher with marginal gains. Sensex advanced 88.73 points or 0.32 percent to 27714.76. Nifty rose 25.15 points or 0.30 percent to 8451.70. About 1015 shares advanced against 805 shares declined on BSE. Bank Nifty bounces nearly 0.6 percent. BSE midcap positive 0.4 percent at 12103. BSE smallcap up 0.3 percent and reached to 12106. Metal sector positive with 0.9 percent on sectoral basis. and other sectors as Financial Services +0.6 percent, FMCG +0.2 percent while Pharma and IT sector declined 0.4 percent and 0.3 percent. HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, NTPC and Bharti Airtel were Gainer in early trade, positive 1-2 percent while BHEL and Coal India fell over a percent. Infosys, TCS, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy's Labs, Cipla, and Lupin were down.
